Audi’s 6.0 Litre V12 TDI engine may have been dropped from development in the R8 but we must remember that it has made it to Audi’s flagship Q7. As a commemoration of the companies (now broken) back wins at Le Mans, the car was released with the V12 TDI making it the most powerful diesel engine used in a series car. It was only a matter of time before companies like ABT managed to get their hands on it!

ABT has used its knowledge and has done a makeover of the Audi A5 Cabrio. They call it the ABT AS5 Cabrio. The open AS5 provides you with driving enjoyment, especially of course when the sun is shining. But even with the roof closed the beautiful cabrio looks rather cool. To achieve this look some changes were made to the exterior and motor management.

Some interesting news regarding the KTM X-BOW has been unveiled today. ABT Sportline has introduced its performance kit for the X-BOW raising the 2.0-liter TFSI engine’s output from 240HP to 300HP and maximum torque from 310Nm to 400Nm. The upgrade is available as an aftermarket package and can be retrofitted to any model.

One of the biggest and well-known tuners around the world is ABT Sportsline from Kempten, Germany. Their latest project is a full kit improving the Audi R8 V10. The kit produces more power, more torque and includes a new bodywork package, different wheels and a four-pipe exhaust system.

Continental and German magazine Auto Bild Sportcars have tested 18 high performance models during their yearly Nardo High Performance Event. Together, a total of 11,135 horsepower competed to smash all records. 13 Tuners were competing in edition 2009.

Abt have just taken the wraps off a car they’ve designed specifically as a promotional car for the Brewery Radeberger. We all know that Alcohol and cars don’t mix and this car is certainly no exception to the rule! Black and Gold are the colours of the Radeberger brand so it’s only natural that the car should be colored in such a way. Under the bonnet is the 2.0 TFSI engine boasting 275bhp.

ABT’s version of the Audi TT-RS provides you with a total of 420hp (309kW). The 80hp extra is gained by installing a charge air cooler and optimisation of the engine electronic. The Bavarian sports car will reach a tempo of 282km/h and manages a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The TT-RS package is available as a sports coupe, but also as a roadster.

The German tuner will be also able to offer you other extras for the car, such as new rims, brakes and interior changes.

ABT Sportsline, German tuner from Kempten, has unveiled its package for the Q7 3.0 TDi, focusing on the economical and environmentally-friendly subject of the vehicle; a SUV. The package stays as ‘economic-friendly’ as before its power upgrade. The performance increases from the standard 240hp (177kW) to 278hp (204kW). At the same time the torque is increased to 580Nm (standard: 550Nm).

Audi’s extensive model range has been the basis of a fair few tuning projects in the past. The A5 Sportback, it seems, is no exception. ABT announced their plans to create the first tuning project for the sedan/coupé. All engine options receive a power boost as well as new braking systems and aerodynamic tweaks.

For now we’ve only been able to speculate what the limited hypercar could look like with the help of some rough sketches. Prospect buyers however, already had the opportunity to take a look at the real deal at a customer event during this year’s Geneva Motor Show.

In addition to the show-stealing S-Class facelift and AMG models, Mercedes-Benz also introduced the Mercedes-Benz Concept A Sedan at Shanghai Auto 2017. The small concept sedan provides and outlook of the next generation compact vehicles and explores a potential new body type.

Upon first sight the Concept A Sedan draws much of its design from other recent Mercedes-Benz concept cars. Finished in the same distinct red hue it draws attention to all angles of its simplified design.
